Participation in the CounterTack RSA 2013 Vespa Giveaway constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Official Rules.
Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the United States, 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of CounterTack, its subsidiaries and its advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Void outside of the 50 United States and where prohibited by law.
Entry: You may enter the Sweepstakes:
Trade Show: Fully complete an Official Entry Form, available at the CounterTack booth (#2533) at RSA Conference 2013 Trade Show at the Moscone Convention Center, in San Francisco, California, (the “Trade Show”) and place it in the designated entry box at the CounterTack booth once validated. In order to submit an eligible valid entry under this method, you must attend a scheduled demonstration held at the CounterTack Booth during the Trade Show between 6:00 p.m. PT on Monday, February 25 and 11:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, February 28 and have your Official Entry Form validated by Sponsor’s authorized representative in the Booth. Only one entry per person is permitted.
Twitter: Once a day between the days of Tuesday, February 26, 2013 through Thursday, February 28, 2013, CounterTack will pose a question via Twitter (using the @CounterTack Twitter handle). By tweeting a reply to the stated question along with the hashtag “#CTVespa” during that day, you will be entered into the drawing again. In order to submit an eligible valid entry under this method, you must first attend a scheduled demonstration held at the CounterTack Booth during the Trade Show between 6:00 p.m. PT on Monday, February 25, 2013 and 11:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, February 28, 2013 and have your Official Entry Form validated by Sponsor’s authorized representative in the Booth. One entry per person, per day is permitted.
Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time and ends on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
Prize: The winner will receive a 2013 Dragon Red Vespa LX 50 4V with a retail value of $3,399. Cash substitution is permitted at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner will be given a Form 1099-MISC and will be required to supply Sponsor with his or her social security number on a Form W-4.
Selection of Winner/Odds of Winning: The winner will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing on Thursday, February 28, 2013. The winner will be notified by phone, e-mail and Twitter. If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to an alternate winner. As a condition to receiving the prize, the winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release. The winner must agree to the use of his or her name, voice and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Winner should allow approximately 3 to 4 weeks after mailing the affidavit of eligibility and publicity release to receive the prize. The odds of winning the prize depends on the number of eligible entries received.
General Conditions: No purchase necessary. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) misdirected or delayed mail or e-mail; (ii) telephone, telecommunications, hardware or third party software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond Sponsor’s control that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted, corrupted or terminated; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of participating in the Sweepstakes or possession of the prize; or (iv) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole discretion, any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the systems required to conduct the Sweepstakes or operate the Sponsor web site, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participants, shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and governed by California law.
