Latest Version of Responder PRO Available as a Downloadable Product via Convenient Subscription Model; Also Now Features Linux Support
RSA ASIA 2015 Conference, SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE (July 22, 2015) – CounterTack | MCSI, the leader in Big Data Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), today announced at RSA Asia 2015, that Responder® PRO Subscription, the market-leading malware reverse engineering solution on the market, is available now for online purchase in its new eShop, for customers globally and now in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Additionally, Responder PRO, powered by our patented Digital DNA (DDNA) technology, now features Linux support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and CentOS.
The announcement of Responder PRO’s availability on the web comes on the heels of CounterTack’s acquisition last week of ManTech Cyber Solutions International (MCSI), a commercial software division of ManTech International Corporation, (Nasdaq:MANT) to form CounterTack | MCSI.
Through the new CounterTack | MCSI eShop, customers can now easily purchase a subscription in just a few clicks for Responder PRO for Windows, for Linux or for Windows + Linux, with the option of paying monthly or annually. For just a few hundred dollars per month, customers will receive ‘Responder PRO Subscription’, which includes Responder PRO, our Digital DNA behavior-based analysis engine, and product maintenance and support.
CIRT teams, cyber forensics investigators and security operations personnel can now subscribe to, and download Responder PRO Subscription to start reverse engineering Windows or Linux memory images rapidly.
“We’re excited to deliver a powerful, yet lightweight solution to the APAC incident response community that is easy to acquire and simple to deploy,” said Neal Creighton, CEO, CounterTack | MCSI , speaking from the RSA Asia Conference in Singapore. “The growth of the EDR market is predicated on the ability to equip customers with best of breed tools that rapidly help investigations, and reverse engineer advanced malware threats. Responder PRO, powered by DDNA, is the de-facto standard for in-memory endpoint forensics, and now we’ve made it easier to acquire and deploy.”
With the move to a more flexible online subscription model, CounterTack | MCSI will also offer a new Responder PRO interactive training series for new customers that will educate reverse engineers on how to investigate and identify the latest threat analysis techniques with Responder PRO. Additionally, the professional training sessions will be interactive so users can learn multiple use cases for which Responder PRO can be leveraged, in addition to new ways of performing endpoint forensics with Responder PRO Subscription.
CounterTack is debuting its full suite of EDR products at upcoming industry conferences worldwide, along with the ability to subscribe to Responder PRO on-site through the CounterTack | MCSI eShop:
